Etherparty and Polymath Partnership

Just read up on this and I couldn't help but wonder: what does everyone think about partnerships? For example, etherparty is supplying polymath with smart contract creation/execution. I think this is so interesting that there are ICO's that are partnering instead of doing everything in house. Thoughts?
