U won't earn much cpu mining on ur desktop, much lesser on azure, even mining a cpu coin thats new will not earn u much profit.

People simply use a prepaid credit card that contains no money, azure doesn't care how many accounts u use the same credit card on, this means creating new emails and simply reusing the empty credit card and u have unlimited trials

U won't earn much cpu mining on ur desktop, much lesser on azure, even mining a cpu coin thats new will not earn u much profit.

I was mining Primecoins (XPM) with azure and mined around 2500 coins with 80 accounts (20 core/account) in a period of 2 weeks.
current worth of XPM is 0.005 BTC and it was way more profit as compared to my investment.

Hi,

I just turned off my 1 month trial on windows azure after using it for less than a week.
You got €150 start money in your free trail. So it's free for 1 month or till your balance runs out.
For me the adventure was 6 days.

Good to know:

The free trail allows you to create 3 free virtual desktops.
2 times a 8 core CPU.
1 time a 4 core CPU.
All cores deliver about 80 mhash.
So you get about 20x80=1600 mhash (for in my case 6 days)
It isn't that bad for free but becarefull and don't forget to stop on time otherwise Windows azure will bill you on your credit card (it's recuired for activating).
