I hope its not because altcoins offers great services and amazing technology that can help us to move forward. I believe that every cryptocurrency has its own value and I know this is really the future, but I have no doubt that bitcoin will remain on top but never to kill altcoins.

No, BTC will not kill alts.  If BTC drops, altw will drop even more.  If btc rises, alts will rise or not... We don't know.  What I do fear is the wildfire on scam ico's and tokens.  Governents won't take that anymore soon.  There will be regulations (KYC is the first step).  Then there will be blood on the (ico)streets and a lot will turn to 0.  Don't forget, excluding some excellent projects, most ICO's are built to get eth out of your hands into someone elses hands.  ICO builders & good traders have eth, noobs have bags of ico's/tokens in the end.

I think the rise in BTC is great for alts. BTC's success increases public acceptance for cryptos, and gives all of the alts a chance to be taken seriously. None of the alts would be where they are today if it weren't for BTC's adoption.

Why do you think that we should be worried about altcoins ? Every coin has its own features and targeted market even the fact that bitcoin is the king.

I dont think so. Altcoin will still exist eventhough the price is lower.
And not all altcoin just drop because of bitcoin price, there are some of them are still on progress in good track.

Everything is connected here. The growth of bitcoin helps to increase altcoins, and then the growth of altcoins helps bitcoin to grow further.

I dont think so. We all knew that BTC had limited stocks. If we had alt coins, we can utilize BTC. As for example, alt coins can be use for payment and because alt coins had the equivalent of certain amount of BTC. We cant really deny the fact that alt coins are really needed. BTC's rising is not blowing our alt coins in the dust. As you can see if you just check those list of alt coins you can see that theres some coins that making its way to the top. But dont be fool by that coz no alt coins can overtake the BTC. Dont worry about your alt coins my friend. If you just utilized it right, theres a possibility to earn bucks. Try trading. Good luck!

NO, I think it's a big opportunity also to all altcoins specially to some shit coins to introduce their own value. Some altcoins might have very small value but still if the btc remain on the top it will balance other altcoins to be known on the market. What should be worried of is that if BTC drop again into very small amount. Meaning, if the BTC value drop what more all altcoins.

altcoin is discounted due to being affected by bitcoin rising too high. But do not worry too much. The entire crypto market will rise in the near future. You can buy altcoin now to prepare for price increases in early 2018.

I hope it does not happen. I hope the bitcoin and altcoin will support each other instead of turning off each other.

Nope. Just take a look at IOTA. 40% growth for the last 24h! and the rest part of alts is mostly green for now. Imho the only risk for alts is that after such a big BTC pump people may decide to drop it and go to fiat. Usually if BTC is dumped then all alts are falling even lower.

We will see, its an exciting time. Im positive, have invested an amount wich I dont need and watching it growing. First you here about bitcoin, maybe you invest. But than you see the alts with their own unice features. There could be a big movement to the alts in the beginning of 2018.

Don't think it will because I don't think altcoins would have made it this far a few years later if Bitcoin was always going to kill them. I think alts are here to stay but their role may get minimized in the future and or some alts may day out. This does not mean alts will die and especially if an alt has an actual use case in life it has no reason to die. Dogecoin I could see dying but a coin that makes crypto spendable like TenX probably not. I could see weird obscure tokens and coins dying but what about the one that is involved with identity verification? If it has use case it probably will survive if it does not then one day or another it will likely die.

BTC, won't make other Altcoin disappear, because Altcoin for BTC increased dramatically, and they are mutually promoting relationship, if there is no BTC, there would be no Altcoin today, hope they decentralized evolution of more and more perfect.Take good care of your digital currency, because they can set you free.
