The 5830 will not need a Molex connector... unless you're running a rig with 5+ cards then it would be a good idea to use a Molex on any cards past the fifth.

missed out on 4 cables for 2.5 bitcoin last night , regretting not purchasing them .   from what i see i will have to purchase one cable at least from you if someone else hasnt one with a molex connector to sell me

k so i will need a molex connector for this one as i will be having 6 cards on the one board to minimize cost

Definitely recommended for that number of cards under one board.

http://www.9mart.com/products/2-Lots-PCI%252dE-PCI%252dExpress-16x-Riser-Card-Extender-Cable-1U-2U.html

I use the 1x ones from here and they are working fine. I also know someone else who is using the 16x one with good results.
