Mining from wallet is not working with this version of wallet.
You can use GPU or maybe CPU miner.
If you have ASIC, no problems. Make string "rpcallowip=*your_asic_ip*" in .conf file.

Hash rate is already high. There is no point in mining with CPU\GPU.

I asked dev about this. I think, hired programmer don't understanded how to use another algo, except scrypt =)
But POW phase will be not so big and after it it will be pure POS.
