I have a collection of bitcointalk forum accounts for sale. I have many from 2012 and 2011, but just a few from 2010. They all have junior member position with around 4 hours of login time and around 2-6 posts. If you are intending on using these for giveaways, these account have all been used on the Ripple giveaway thread. For now I would like to sell these individually or a few per transaction. If you seem like a reputable user I will go first, if not I'd like you to or we can use escrow. Post here if you are interested.

Prices:
2012's - .25BTC
2011's - .45BTC
2010's - 1BTC

Accounts traded:

7/09 - 1x 2010 account. I sent first.
7/13 - 1x 2010 account. Other party sent payment first.
7/14 - 1x 2010 account. Other party sent payment first.
7/15 - 1x 2012 account. Other party sent payment first.
7/31 - 2x 2012 account. I sent first.
8/06 - 4x 2012 account. Other party sent payment first.
8/25 - 1x 2012 account. Other party sent payment first.

I just may be interested in this --

There's a post that I want to reply to in the marketplace, but I can't because I'm new. So for people like me this would be beneficial.

Now, if I don't like the name. It might be another story.

I have no idea how much I would even offer for something like this .. So shoot me an offer.

I just think it's weird that this is allowed, the restrictions on new accounts are there because of safety issues and now they allow people to sell old accounts so scammers can just buy one. No way to police it? what about not allowing these posts in the first place! Me myself are also struggling because I like to buy coins and place an offer, right now I can't but no way I will go and spend money to some guy selling these old accounts, just feels stupid.

What is the point of spending $20 to $50 in BTC on a forum account? It shouldn't take that long to get out of n00b jail - is anyone actually that impatient?

I'm kind of shocked the moderators are just letting this happen without removing the thread and maybe the user.

The forum mods have made it clear where they stand on this, and they've chose to allow it. For everyone who keeps leaving negative posts in my thread, all you are doing is bumping my thread up to the top for more views and I thank you for that.

I bought one of dannyjr89's accounts and have been really enjoying it. What he doesn't tell you is some of these accounts have a rich history. I found out 'randrace' is a real silverbug and has a reputation as a card shark at sealswithclubs. Imagine my surprise when I got a PM from a former girlfriend of randrace's who was none to pleased that he was back posting on the boards.

These accounts only go up in value, and I plan on flipping this one for .7 BTC later this year.

Highly recommended.

Interesting use of the forum! I'm curious how the board mods/owners will react to this for the long term, assuming it continues. I'm also surprised at the unexpected places where the free market will find value....

the only things I can come up with.

if money is worth less to you than the time and hassle associated with working your way out of newbie jail. imagine a multimillionaire for example, the .15 bitcoin is worth nothing to him, but a couple hours of his time is worth thousands of dollars at least.

Why would somebody want to buy a forum account. I'm curious.

You have to wait for long time to get Sr.Member or Full Member title with new accounts. So, if you buy old accounts you only need posts.

That's not true, it's based on the number of 'two week periods' in which you've posted.  So, if you buy an account that's been inactive for years, you get nothing.
