I am asking for a friend who has recently had their account banned and he doesn't understand why.

I just checked his post history and just by looking there, I'm going to guess that it's because of of his burst posts, he is making fast posts in a very short period of time.
The same thing applies to your account so once again, guessing that you're not his friend but you're the same person.
