Since you specified a time frame, I am assuming that you only want a short term invest. Then, I would say that the better altcoins that fit your list is LTC and Ripple, those two are quite buzzing right now. There are so many plans surrounding those two coins coming straight from their developers to put up the value of those coins and increase their market cap. Those actions would certainly lead to an increase in price point and marketability. Also, those two coins are in the cheap list of coins that could be easily purchased but could also be disposed quickly for fair profit.

I believe that would be majorities favorite, I even think that Ethereum will dethrone bitcoin soon.

Picking only 2 altcoins now I would choose probably ETH and NEO or EOS and NEO. Meanwhile, it is never the best choice to deal with a limited number of alts. For instance now I have been keeping in my wallet over 15 coins.

Waves is the first one for sure. It is only a few month left for a huge price raise. I honestly believe that nobody will be disappointed about waves. Second one would be iota. So many old traders tells that iota is very cheap and will be priced like ethereum.

I would suggest in Ripple and Cardano or Ethereum Classic. These will show positive movement in the next few months. They have made announcements of new updates coming to the their tech and it will be good for investors to look into these.
