For myself, in the next few months I prefer investing in altcoin like ethereum, litecoin and binance coin. Because now the price of the coin for me has reached the bottom and if nothing bad happens to bitcoin then the altcoin will be good for the future

I am still not sure, if the price of coins has reached bottom, possibility will market going back down and the price of coin falling again because there has been no audible big news coming and the volume at each exchanger is getting down

Agree, most of the altcoins decreased their prices a lot in the market, which we don't have any guess whether the coins touched their bottom or not. Whenever the price of Bitcoin increases/decreases it is effecting on the altcoin prices. Still, there are chances to decrease the price of altcoins.

since i posted wau in spring 2018 in this thread, most guys just say the same thing over and over, bitcoin xrp and eth. Guys those coins got fucked and will get ficked compared to great coins. the days of bitcoin going 1000x are gone, it cant 1000x. BNB and ETH. Simple as that. 2 of the big caps that are also useful in the industry. This is as much as you can ask for when it comes to crypto at this point. While most of the coins are simply scams or projects ran honestly but designed with no chance of success you need to simply ignore everything that hasnt been tested yet. Trying to 100x your money gambling on crypto 'startups' is not the way really.

Ethereum is a perfect coin for long term investment so most are suggesting this platform. But Ripple is not performing well on previous years and it was totally against the Bitcoin platform so banking support projects are grow slowly in upcoming hype. Once Bitcoin will start the growing, automatically top altcoins are going to peak.

I think the best option would be to invest in Bitcoin and ether, because these are the first two and for me the most promising coins in crypto.

I agree, and i would consider the top 3 - 5 since they're volume are huge in the last 7 days and investing on those coin/token is worth and good for long term. And buying in cheap and waiting for the market to rise up is a wise decision.

But some altcoins are really good for a swing trade.

But isn't it too long for us waiting for those top coins to get the big pump as the pump can happen periodically with the medium coin like credits, chainlink and other.
It's better to divided our money into the some coins that can bring more volatility for us.

I strongly agree that ethereum is an altcoin that can be held and used as a long and short term investment, all that's left is to analyze when to start selling and buying it. because ethereum is very stable and very reliable and sometimes not affected by bitcoin. but if bitcoin starts crawling up and surviving, then it is certain that the best altcoin ranked in CMC will receive a very good impact.

In my opinion, the 2 altcoins recommended for investment are ethereum and binance coins, why did I choose the two coins because of this

you mean ETHER? yes, it's currently 2nd in the market but it doesn't mean or guarantee a success.
Look how ETHER has struggle in the last two years, maybe we should also try a new coin and don't just give our full hope in the coin.

I am not against ETHER but I don't only rely on that one.

so far i have no plans adding another currency in my Holdings because if there is one coin i wanna buy again and again?that is surely Bitcoin because i trust and believe the capacity to bring me income.

strange . the title says top 2 altcoins . that means your only looking for top 2 altcoins right  ? but your message on this thread says that your looking for 3 altcoins    . im confuse if how much you really need  , one or two  ? anyway  . you got some solid coins already on your portfolio  namely btc and waves but i never heard of the other one which is shift  .  also the thread was way back two year ago  and you only expect 3 to 6 months so may i know if what is the status of the coins you hold now if you still have now  ?
