When you first know about bitcoin what was the price?

I came in when the price was around 800$ but I never bought until just last year I started investing in btc when the price was 1200$. It was a @ a higher price though but I am enjoying now. Long live btc!!!

I did heard about bitcoin back in late 2016 to early 2017 and I think the price was relatively cheap for me to buy into; bought like 0.02 units (can't really place the actual figure). I was somewhat excited that it was a means of earning some extra funds. But the lending to the site didn't go well and I dropped the thought of Bitcoins. I later heard it rose to 700$ early 2017. It has been on the rise ever since then and just for some small dips here and there but there has always been an increase which follows the dips.

I remembered owning a fraction of a btc, about 1 or 2 dollars worth. I forgot about it for a year then I saw news everywhere that btc was soaring in price. I opened my wallet and btc costed $8000 dollars. Couldn't believe my eyes. I converted my btc to dollars and it came up to $12. I was convinced, so here I am.

Me too! Also my first time knowing bitcoin it was 200+ dollars . I got so interested and amazed that is why i search all about bitcoin , how to it works and etc. Thanks to my friends because without them i will never know that this forum exist.

When I first starting playing about with it and minning it using Bitcoin QT wallet is was worth around $1 back in 2012
Then I messed about with Litcoins and then Dogecoins a few years later Then I lost interest and forgot about them for about 3 years

Unfortunalty I cant access my bitcoins and also some of my litecoins because I only have the wallet addresses and passwords but no private keys for them

It was last few years ago. I know bitcoin when it was $400 per bitcoin. I was very new in this bitcoin on that time.
I bought 0.7 bitcoin from my salary and it loss 30%. Because i was newbi and dont know how the price work, then i decide to stop.
And few months ago i know this forum and i have more knowledge now but i need more learn.

Cool, Does it mean you sold your 0.7 bitcoin because you said you loss 30% the value of your money? It's like a better luck next time. Imagine if you have manage to keep your 0.7 bitcoin you'll get lots of fold from the original price you have bought it.

Same like me, I know bitcoin when it's priced at $200 exactly in 2014. Until now I did not expect that it cost more than $10000 and will continue to rise, even some predictions by experts say possibly in 2018, the bitcoin price can too high.

When I first knew about Bitcoin the price is like $300. I was a newbie that time and it happens to be like I borrowed money from my mother and to my closest relative to invest in Bitcoin but they failed me. If only I had the capital that time to invest I could pay them double if ever they lend me the money. I left no choice but to let my account ranked up to participate in signature campaigns to save my earnings but as days have past the price of Bitcoin too is rising. Until the time when emergency came in last October 2017 and had no choice but convert all my coins into fiat money because I am afraid that accident happened to me will lead to amnesia and my coins will be lost forever in my wallet. December 2017 wherein price is like a roller coaster it goes up and down but a coin still worth more or less half a million of our local fiat currency.

when i got my first knowledge about bitcoin the price was about 30$.this was 2012.when bitcoin hit 100$ i got finally completely addicted to the crypto world.
