Can you predict what the future may hold for digital currencies generally and bitcoin specifically? Is a major crash possible?

For me, crypto's certainly have a future. Globally while the number of merchants who accept cryptocurrencies has steadily increased, they are still very much in the minority. I believe they will gain widespread acceptance among consumers. However, their relative complexity compared to conventional currencies will likely deter most people.

In a few years cryptos will be mainstream, you'll be able to pay with them in brick-and-mortar shops.
And yeah Bitcoin could go down a bit in price, but in the long term it will probably soar.

It's not possible (major crash) but if we talk about bitcoin future? It will just continue to get global popularization and it will just be the same like cash nowadays imo so price will just pump and increase for next years.

Some new ICO specialising in predictions. But I don't know, it's a scum or real projects.
Also, many people are waiting for progress with futures...

Hard to predict with a 100% certainty, but based on the cryptocurrency growth, I'd be amazed if id drops in the next few years.

We cannot predict exactly what is going to happen to Bitcoin or altcoins but  I assume that even if there is ups and downs, it will bounce back every time as more and more people getting attracted to crypto currencies.

No one knows for sure but it is a protocol first and the money part just happens to be the first app written over it. It could be dethroned and for all we know Dogecoin or Litecoin could prevail.
