Recently, I read the book, "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by John Parkins.
I was amazed by the confessions about how capitalists were exploiting resources. And how they are debt-trapping developing countries in the name of developmental projects, and how all the USD is recirculated into the US economy. And how the US become a global power.
I might not agree with all of his confessions, but it has given me know-how about the working of the corporate world (Capitalism) and how the rich countries are getting richer while low-income countries are getting poorer.
Anyone from a developing or underdeveloped country should give it a read.

My favorite book of all time would be "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel. It is actually the first book that I've read so it will always hold a special place in my heart. Aside from that,
