My recent internet problems combined with other RL obligations have shown me I really need to offload some of my writing duties. That's where you all come in!

I'm an editor for The Bitcoin Sun- I write most of the articles about development news and goings on, which is something I'd like to change!

I need writers signed up to write for me, I aim to have 1-2 articles freelanced at anywhere from 1-2 btc each, for roughly a page and a half to two pages of reporting on the goings on of the Development team, feature requests, community development, etc.

Essentially, I'm looking for articles that boil down the developer forum's posts into a coherent, easy to read format. Topics should be cleared with me in advance, and articles should be timely (We are a news organization, after all Wink ).

Repeat writers will get priority with their articles, and potentially a more steady job, but new writers will be subject to review and will only be paid based on quality of the article.

A good article should describe the discussion/problem, describe why it is important to regular users/miners/businesses/ etc.

And because I get tons of article submissions and suggestions that aren't about development of bitcoin:

I'm looking for articles about new features, code forks, problems in the code, how the project is developing, etc, not editorials or commentary on trading or the economy!

To contact me, pm me or email me at garrettb AT thebitcoinsun.com

To contact all of the Sun editors to try and submit a generic/nondevelopment article, email editor AT the bitcoinsun.com

-Garrett

I'm a technical writer and editor with 20+ years experience in the field.  Don't have *lots* of time, but I have some and would be willing to do work for bitcoins.  Do you have a list of topics that you want articles on?  Or (perhaps) do you need somebody qualified to review articles and edit them?  I'd email you, but the answer to these questions would probably be valuable to any other writers lurking about, so I'm asking here instead....  If you want to check out my resume or ask questions about my qualifications, my web site/blog is www.ergosphere.net.  My  resume and contact information are posted under ErgoOne.
