It's not a scam as originally anyone holding btc would get it for free so technically if i had 1 btc i would get 1 btg which is $300 currently so it's basically free money for me.
But I still hold my BitcoinGold and almost 10% loss
Not sure what you trying to convey but loss like you invested in it when price was $330 or something and now the price has fallen well it's kind of your fault because chances of btg having any future is really less you should have invested in bch as it seems to have some sort of future.

Just another alt honestly all these forks don't make any difference because they have so many errors in it and it is clear it is done so that developers can make profit.
