Hi all,

I purchased a $500 paypal deposit here from this guy a week ago:

I originally had bought a $100 Paypal deposit a few days before and he sent me the money as a gift. However this time, he sent it as if he was ordering something (my fault for not smelling something funny, it was a busy work week). Luckily I managed to get the money into my bank account in time, however, now paypal has put my account into a negative $500.

I am collecting as much evidence of proof of what I actually BOUGHT and am going to see how paypal handles it. Chances are he will be doing the same to others. Anyone have advice on if I'm out of verified paypal account forever? Anyone know how to get a new verified account? Thanks and beware to anyone else buying from this guy.

sucks that paypal tends to take the side of the seller most of the time, I lost around $75 to paypal with something similar in your situation, which is why i stopped using them.

This would be my advice as well. Did you sign up for your original account using traceable details? PayPal will attempt to chase you down for that $500 no doubt

I contacted both Paypal and Bitmit about this problem. Paypal asked me for information, but when I answered the dispute, they reversed the transaction completely! I got another follow up email from Paypal asking to call them, I will but doubt it will get any resolution, but we'll see. I hope Bitmit support can help at least recover the lost BTC so I can pay back stupid paypal because I've heard they will send my negative balance to collections after a while. I'll keep you guys updated and thanks for the suggestions.

https://www.bitmit.net/en/user/veezets

He started on May 23, and got a bunch of positive feedback since then.  Looks like he waited until nearly the end of the chargeback time period to screw everyone.
