Have an idea for a provably fair, transparent & honest gambling project? Request funding by creating a new topic in the forum section linked below. The Crypto Gambling Foundation will be happy to fund up to 5 BTC to individual projects as seed funding if we see merit in the idea. All funding is donation based and will not be asked to be returned in any form. Successful websites are more than welcome to give back to the foundation if they would like to.

By doing this, the foundation hopes to create a trend in new websites that follow how we hope to see the Bitcoin gambling scene become. The majority of new websites now days are sadly not. The best way to break this trend is by ensuring correct practice in the new & upcoming websites.

You will have to post a new topic with the application below. The topic has questions which will hopefully help determine whether your a stand out individual. Your business plan, which you will PM to me, will determine whether your business is something viable and worth funding.

All approved websites for funding will automatically become junior members of the foundation. This is not a fully verified operator as you will need at least 6 months of legitimate operation in order to become eligible.

Very interesting. Seems almost too good to be true. Amazing initiative and ideology behind it however. I guess you guys have just made too much money off Stake & Primedice..

I'm starting to get more & more faith in this whole CGF.

According to your website, Bustadice is among the fully verified operators:
https://cryptogambling.org/

However, Bustadice was launched at the end of September and therefore has not even remotely been operating legitimately
for 6 months. I don´t think they are a scam, because of the people involved and their track record. Yet this is
basically a violation of your acceptance criterias for fully verified operators.

Regarding the actual topic of this thread:
Great idea, I really think provably fair gaming is one of the big innovations that has arisen alongside cryptocurrencies
and I welcome every approach to increase awareness for this innovation.

What problems do you have with bustadice? I've looked at their site a few times and run a chat bot for it, and nothing concerned me.

EDIT: Ah, you're saying they haven't been operating for 6 months, nevermind.

Bustadice has been heavily vouched by Bustabit who is a verified operator. They also share provably fair results with Bustabit. No current websites who are involved had an issue with this and trusted Rhaver's vouch so we didn't see an issue.

I have a great idea but would like to assemble a team before I formally propose for funding. I need a graphics designer and a coder if anyone would like to help.
PM me Telegram or Skype Smiley

Best to be organized before submitting a proposal. It definitely won't look as good going for 2nd shots.

Exactly! Just curious, do we need previous funding to apply for a seed fund? I have a great idea and if I can get a team behind me I want to use the potential funds to hire a dev.

Seems like you need more of a general base to start off with. Whether or not this includes funding is dependent on who you have currently involved. I think they're looking for people who have been previously putting a lot of time into their idea, not people who are putting together proposals just for the funding itself.

Would love to see some more entries, this is an initiative where we hope to make even a small difference in trying to change the foundation of how Bitcoin users decide to gamble. Changing the trend from what normal fiat casinos do would be something incredible. Maybe one day we could even move to push the same innitiative to real money casinos.

I guess you could say we want to change how people view online casinos, and it starts by changing the newcomers.

Do we need to have code set up? I am working on a business plan but do not have anything else. Would it be considered?

You don't need to have code setup, but you need to be capable. I wouldn't bother until you have done full research and understand how you're going to approach the situation.

We're more looking to fund gambling startups who are ready to get into the industry but need some extra funding to make their games fair.

Look into it, do some research. Bitcoin has broken down the barriers of entry to get into this awesome industry.

Never thought of it like that, you have a point. Normally people would have to get CC approved etc.

Its actually a fairly good idea. Basically kind of like Venture Capitalism in the Bitcoin gambling area.

In my opinion with the vast majority of bitcoin gambling sites out there, there are primarily 2 issues.

1) The developer is very creative and has a unique idea aside from regular dice. However they don't have enough capital and the site never gains enough interest or they close it down due to solvency issues.

2) The developer is a beginning or not even a developer at all but has enough capital. In this sense they pretty much launch a copy and paste dice site which there are already 100s examples of. It has enough capital to handle whale gamblers but since its a stale idea, it dies off due to not interest.

Hence this is a pretty unique idea and a great way to introduce new gambling concepts.

So you are giving this amount out without asking for any return? Are you do this for charity? Because there are tons of simple site which can scam awau your btc, due to the current price, I think 5 btc is really worth to be scammed. Let say dice site which they can get easy code out there and create their site and claim it here, so you are not going to do anything and fund them just like that?

Interesting that the foundation is showing interest in funding these new gambling startups. Though what's the game plan? How does the foundation determine the credibility of the site, the viability of the idea, how the devs will use the money for further development, etc.? Also, will the foundation get a cut from these gambling sites that they actually fund? It has a good intention, but I think it should have some sort of mechanism.

That's pretty interesting... Another foundation trying to make money.

Gambling is in no way supportive to the world and we got a lot of casinos already. I'm not entirely sure why you're funding new gambling startups. Only for the money?
If not, why wouldn't you just go for 3rd world projects? They can be quite profitable as well (though riskier and slower).

Thus, I completely disagree on the statements of the previous posters that this is a nice initiative. This is only a nice initiative for themselves.

So you are giving this amount out without asking for any return? Are you do this for charity? They're obviously not going to do this without asking for any return. They aren't charity. They're an attempt to become rich.

I think he already mentioned that he offers up to 5 btc for each start up casino which I assume that it will be more likely dice game which can have nuch better roi for sure. And to be true, OP much more likely second moneypot which they accept your site and give you some money to run your business with of course some rules on the profit sharing. But this is better because it takes higher risk for them to give out money so they do not control the money flow
