I'm using myetherwallet, my friends also use it because it has the greatest performance of all so i highly recommend it too. Thats just for me though, but just now there's been a sort of a problem i think on myetherwallet because everyone receive a non valid token in their wallet even me, i dont know what that is.

MyEthereumwallet and imtoken are the best for mobile users in case of ERC20 tokens.

Metamask, Exodus, are the best for PC users

Jaxx is the best wallet for most popular coins.

Ledger nano s, Trezor are the good for hardware wallets.

You can use myetherwallet without any problem if you are new to these kind of stuff. It is simple wallet that is easy to use and have a user friendly interface. You can use it to store your tokens. Just make sure you login to correct url because there are some websites trying to imitate it.

Use myetherwallet.com for ERC20 Tokens (80% of ICOs use MEW) or try Ledger wallet; is a great offline wallet for both bitcoin and altcoins too.

I used to use MyEther too, bucourse it's very good wallet. But he needs to reduce the cost of transactions, because he has grown in price, and it is necessary to regulate the cost, because there will be competitors who will do it faster and cheaper, which will negatively affect the purse itself. and it is not very convenient.

I use myetherwallet because it is very easy to use,
and cheap cost has a good reputation so many users choose it,
but never share your private key to anyone because it is the access to view your account, and most importantly keep your address and private key in place safe if you need to write or address your dowloand wallet along with your private key.

MEW with a ledger nano S, i think it is a really clean and secure combination.  Ledger nano s can sign transactions securely and MEW has the most tutorials and community support so if you run into anything you don't understand you can research how to  the sign transaction types you are looking (of course do the research BEFORE you sign the transactions).

I would recommend using a Ledger or Trezor in combination with Myetherwallet. I do that myself and it works really well!
