My Etherwallet is good wallet for holding ERC20 tokens but what you have to do is to hold your private key very safe from intruders. Just open an account at  https://myetherwallet.com and you will be giving an ethereum address to send your tokens. Again don't forget to hold your private key very safe.

MyEtherWallet is simple to use wallet for altcoins. However there are so many wallets like metamask they are also good.
I think I also agree with you because I also use it to all tokens that I receive in any campaigns I use to join and it is easy and simple to use.

so many wallets are there to safe the cryptos. but i prefer ethereum wallet. because eth wallet is secured as i use. for large transactions you have to use more stronger wallets. you have to search for that.

I'm currently using MyEtherWallet for the coins I received from signature campaigns and sometimes airdrops.

WavesWallet is also safe and easy to use.
But if you want to have an ongoing thing with crypto, I do advise you to look for other options (ledger - multiple ones, or just download and setup a wallet on a computer that it's used just for this purpose).

Well, waves wallet is safe but waves based coins are not so popular like erc20 based tokens. MY advice would be on myetherwallet side because there are a lot of successful erc20 based tokens and you can store them all in mew.

what would be a good wallet service to hold tokens?

Try myetherwallet.com , all my friends recommends it and I think it is very reliable. I also read a lot of good feedbacks before actually trying it and so far I wasn't able to encounter any problem to it and I can easily link it with etherscan which is very convenient aside from it can also receive every token sent to me.

The best solution is Nano Ledger S together with Myetherwallet. Maximum practicality matched by best security.

be careful if you use myetherwallet and if you already receive the token and the token are available in the exchange, it is better to send the token to the exchange because it is safer to keep the token in the exchange than in the myetherwallet. although we know that myetherwallet is safe but we need to prevent the bad things that might be happening in every time and we need to secure our token to the safe place.

I myself rely more on myetherwallet to accept all forms of tokens Because it is simple enough to have it and able to make us easier every time you make a transaction every time.In addition the security in it is also quite tight and able to provide a sense of security for everyone.
