Does anyone know of any guides out there that can assist in setting your own pool? I've been searching google but all the information seems rather spread out. Kind of like I just have to try a bunch of stuff and see what works. Is there anything out there that details exactly what you need?

I'm looking for:

-Server Hardware Requirements
-Back End Software and configuration guide
-Front End Software and configuration guide
-Security guides to protect against DDOS etc...

Is anyone here able to point me in the right direction? I'm mostly looking into building pools to mine Scrypt based coins.
