I have recently upgraded to v0.15.1 of the bitcoin core on my mac, and it has been stuck at the startup logo saying "rewinding blocks..." for more than 2 days now. Does anyone have any suggestion please?
Thank you Smiley

Is it "hanging" or still doing something? In other words: does it show any CPU, hard drive or network activity?

My guess would be it's fixing something in it's downloaded blockchain, but 2 days is a long time to wait. Did you by any chance not shutdown the computer the proper way last time?

Seems to me like you should just restart your computer and try again. If it doesn't work after an hour or two then delete the blockchain and resync again. As long as you keep your wallet, it ain't a big deal. You can use Electrum wallet until you are resynced if you need to send some bitcoins or something.
