I can't sleep knowing that Bitcoins could be used to buy mixed fabrics contrary to Deuteronomy 22:11 "Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together."
Some people have some nerve.

The only thing that bothers me is the fact these threads exist so long here. This belongs in the 'newbies' section, honestly - if not outright locked. It is no better than the "CRASH CRASH CRASH" threads, or someone claiming they've "HACKED THE BLOCKCHAIN - FREE BITCOINS" kind of postings.

Drugs? I like some of them! If my dealer will start to accept Bitcoins instead of cash it will be nice. If alcohol, nicotine and caffeine is legal, all other drugs should be legal too.
Child porn? Girls without tits is not my preference, but in internet everything should be allowed in my opinion. There is even more disturbing porn legally available, such as 18+ girls getting abused by some old and rich fart or gayfag porn. Why to care about CP if all participants have fun from making it? I remember myself as 12yo kid wanting to have sex with girl soo badly.
Terrorism? I like the so called "terrorists". But I have no idea how Bitcoins will be userful to guerilla fighters fighting asimetric warfare for now. In future yes, they might be some use as a means of cash transfer. But today TNT and AK-74 is still more usefull than Bitcoins.

The difference between $$/€/.. and bitcoins is that bitcoins make it easy to pay and be anonymous at the same time. If someone pays for child porn using €, there are usually ways to find him and do whatever the local laws say.
A suitcase full of cash is much more anonymous than Bitcoin, though, isn't it? |

And you know this is happening because of how or what? Because some politician said so? You actually believe what any politician says? "That's not my Weiner", "I did not have sex with that woman", "I was just tapping my foot", "The Internet is a bunch of Tubes", "No new taxes", "I will close Gitmo within 6 months", "We expect action in Libya to take days, not weeks", shall I go on? The shear thought that anyone would waste time transferring money to an Exchange, likely by electronic means since what fool would send thousands of dollars in cash, convert those to Bitcoins, transfer them to his wallet then another wallet, then another then back to an Exchange then back to cash by way of some third country transfer (money order?) since they wouldn't want to use a direct bank transfer as that defeats all of what they just did is ludicrous. But then again our Gov't wants you to think Mexican Drug Lords are coming across the river to TX to buy 5 guns that have to be modified to fire at full auto and have their full life documented vs. calling up China, N. Korea, any of the former USSR satellites and saying "I need 1000 full auto AK's with 100k rounds of ammo" is also a fool since we are also told those drug lords have BILLIONS in cash. |
