Bitcoin will reach that number unexpectedly, but for now its not possible yet, most of investors are playing in alt, and Bitcoin still need to fixed the transaction fee, after all being handled then the road to 25k will be reached very soon

Coupled with the rate at which the price of bitcoin has been increasing lately. I'd like to know how long it would take bitcoin to reach $25k since it took it just a year to rise from $1k to $10k(which was pretty cool and fast) but I doubt if it can rise as fast as that again

It seems that now the price is growing much slower than last year. Maybe it will reach 25k $ in a year. Although maybe earlier.

Current bitcoin price is around $17000 and I think the $25000 mark can be achieved probably within this month's last week. No one can predict accurately but the trend of bitcoin for past week post correction is looking good and bullish. Need to wait and watch the show.

Things could be as easy as reaching  the new heights just the same way bitcoin did it last time. But now its the time where we have to overcome few of the challenges for example, scaling up issues. This is over the head now and as we can experience, the fees, trasanction speed and confirmations are taking a lot of time. Even after paying the amount of 40-50 USD my transactions are taking longer than half hour which is insane thing. You tell me how people will believe the BTC now and how they will get into it easily? They don't just want to make profit here but they also need some useful stuff with bitcoin for example, faster transactions. This is the sole purpose of the BTC which we re not able to achieve. So lets see what happens in the long run and give bitcoin few months to rise again if it could then we can start speculating about the 25,000 K prices.

Bitcoin's price now is approximately $15000 it kind a stock there for about a weeks and i still hoping to inflate. If ever it would reach $25000 its almost end of 2018 or mid year i guess, but its not that easy to reach specially these days, lots of coin are appearing.

Do you really think it is that easy to reach such great prices. Last year whatever happened was because of Futures exchanger listed the BTC on their exchange program and that was god news about it. It created that natural hype amongst the people who were not in the crypto before but they started grabbing the BTC like crazy, this increased the market cap many more folds and finally the prices risen. 
Apart from that people also started working up on hard forks I mean they know that they will get equivalent free currencies and will earn huge profits by trading those free coins. This was also additional reason as to why BTC got new ATH.
This time we might struggle to reach the 25,000 rate if the BTC doesn’t come up with good news and new developments too.

No one in crypto has a crystal ball, therefore no one here is able to predict accurately how long it will take Bitcoin to reach such a level. However, I do believe that Bitcoin will be able to reach such a level in 2018, once the altcoin run is over. How long it will take? No idea.

another one, bitcoin have fork/segwits in this 17th of the month and more on the first month next year.
people are gathering more  and more people are seeking for bitcoin to hold because of segwits
but why bitcoin stocks at this rate now?
bitcoin transfer fees are so high, but why? it is due to processing transfers from exchangers and wallet that holders now avoiding.
once this issue resolve BTC will rise again and we can expect the price to pump again

If the mark of 20 thousand is punched, then surely the bar will be taken and 25. Very strong resistance on 20 stands, psychological for sure. At the moment we are seeing normal waves.

I think both bitcoin and the whole of the crypto market need a push from the market to return to the old peak and break the new milestone. The market is stabilizing and resting for some time in the next few days. I learned that big investors have not come back to market so you can see that in the past week fluctuations in the market took place, but with very small amplitude, the coin went up very little, That shows the whole market is waiting for momentum.

We can't get conclude about the bitcoin price after this year but I can only says it will reach 25k$ in this year but we don't know in what month could reach it. So this is a good question that we can embrace the bitcoin. It is not too late to earn bitcoins nowadays because after 2 years o a year it can make your money multiply.

Well, all this depends upon the current market status and the number of active users. Currently the speed that bitcoin has if maintained then it will not take more then 2-3 months to reach that amount. If it's market value goes down the time lap will increase. Ups and downs are part of that. So can't be pretty exactly sure. We can make only wild guesses.

Right now bitcoin is on an unstable moment so to try to make any kind of prediction about the price is difficult but I think that if you want to reach that price then you will need a few months but if you want that to be more or less a base price for bitcoin I think we will have to wait another year, however if the lightning network gets released in this year then that could accelerate things up.

There is an interest in Bitcoin so it will be a spectacular evolution of the value of it, not for a long time but i am positive that it will happen.

Yes you're right bitcoin will reach that price very soon. One good news about bitcoin then it will increase. I see to it there's a next bull run coming it's not the end yet but lucky for us we could buy in this dip..

It is unfortunate to give any prognosis about time frame, but all sorts of surprises are possible. I believe that bitcoin can be even stronger than 25k.

Although the confidence of many has been severely damaged after a terrible month in January, I think the market is too young to maintain a long-term pessimistic stance. I would expect the price of $25,000 in about three months, but that would mean that the dominance of bitcoin in the marketcap will continue to fall, perhaps to 25% by mid-year.
