Iota is comfortably seated as number 4 on coinmarketcap.com and in the past 24hrs have done a trade of over $2 billion. Is this another pump scheme that will end up as a pile of rubbles or a solid coin that will stand the test of time?

Some people would say fraud, some other would say fact.
But without proof, I can't believe any of them. People have to find their own information and check facts that other people give to them.
It's not an easy place here to try to differenciate true and false arguments. Better do it on our own.

Good luck Smiley

Having Microsoft on their side I guess we shouldn't considering IOTA as fraud. Hope what's happening now won't be a pump and dump scenario.

The huge pump over the last couple of days is from this:

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/04/cryptocurrency-iota-rallies-after-launch-of-data-marketplace.html
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/iota-price-explodes-after-microsoft-partnership-announcement/

It's no fraud.  Roll Eyes

It seems genuine, but with any crazy price increase there is usually a sharp correction... momentum seems to have slowed now, but there's not been a massive drop yet.

One's opinion about altcoin is very different because he does not have the coins so they answer according to his analysis,
IOTA, according to its creators, has a number of advantages bloccano in terms of the large number of micropayments.

I think that IOTA will not keep line 4 because of the momentary rise.
After IOTA's agreement with microsoft, many people invested in IOTA without research

I would say it is a fishy one.
IT will probably go longer then the usual pump and dump, but in the long run it is possible to go down...
I notice a news couple of days ago, about a phone that will be both only with it, so that probably is one of the reasons of the pump.

Didn't like the news, as the phone seemed not that real deal and more like a news to pump the token up.

I have seen it pumped and dumped in the past, so I stay out of it, as there are not much $$$ I can risk in there and the profits won't be that big anyway...

I think, that the current situation with IOTA is very similar to the announcement of Ethereum  Alliance some time ago. We got a significant rise in ETH price, however it didn't saved ETH from a drop later. I believe it will be the same scenario with IOTA. Of course it doesn't mean that it is not valid and solid solution with high chances of success in the future (like Ethereum). I am just saying that such rapid growths are very often connected with some corrections later. It is all about hype now.

I'll go for fact. Somehow some people do hate Cryptocurrencies that for them has less important than what they're invested. That's clearly denial.
MIOTA is clearly the well supported by uprising number of investors due to the project itself is more effective than other existing coins.
They have a good community and management team that is working to make this currency successful.

Who are we to keep on denying that iota is one of the best Cryptocurrency that exist. Microsoft had put trust to iota and that's the fact. We can use iota tokens as payment for Microsoft's products and services in the near future.

Two months ago when iota crashed, everybody was saying; iota is a big scam! stay away! Their dev's are pure shit they are greedy as fuck!

Is this another pump scheme that will end up as a pile of rubbles or a solid coin that will stand the test of time?

NOW: "Wow, iota is the best altcoin! it made me x4 my money in just a single week! This is far the best altcoin that i have ever used EVER! Their dev's are trully gods! i love them!

This is just the first prove of that everybody is just following money, most of those people who were saying that iota was scam, are the ones who have more than 50% of their portfolio in iota right now.

make your own conclusions about it.

Guyz is it true that Microsoft is behind IOTA?

I think of it earlier this week but when Microsoft announced that they're going to be the partner of iota then it came maybe Microsoft was trying to create their own Cryptocurrency but an isolated experiment.
But the thing is, iota is somehow successful after their ICO so maybe now it's time to give them a break and make their currency price increase because people trust Microsoft and so as iota coin.

Oh well, was there even any coin or token that hasn't been called a fraud or scam at any point in their existence?
None right? So if you know what you are doing and confident with it, you do not have to think about this anymore.
In my case, i think IOTA is great for profit because i loved its ideology whicu is why i bought quite a good sum back then on a very cheap price, now i have great profits. But i do mot plan on dumping yet coz clearly, iota is something that i think will.surely stand the test of time.

The best thing that ever happened to an Altcoin is when they had given a chance to multiply their price and value then it would be continuing increase because in every pump people will notice and trying to invest out of curiosity so this happens when a popular company is supporting a Cryptocurrency that has been trusted by more than three decades, that is Microsoft.
