IOTA is awesome. It deserves 3rd place by market cap and I think it's gonna get there very soon.

It had a gain very similar to Bitcoin. IOTA price went up 10x this year:

Having Microsoft on their side I doubt this will be a fraud.IOTA is here to stay and it will really moon .I predict it to hit five usd by end of december.

I think this is the main reason why IOTA is really mooning. Partnering with Microsoft is not easy, but they gain a foothold when it was announced yesterday if I'm not mistaken and now its trading above $2 and maybe it can doubled at the end of the year. Not only did they partner with Microsoft, it is reported that Accenture and other dozens company as well to developed and implement a blockchain solution tied to IOT (Internet Of Things). So it looks like this is long term. So I don't think its a fraud.

You will have to learn for yourself, the tangle is a completely new technology similar to what bitcoin was when it was created, in fact IOTA does not have a blockchain so it is a completely different concept than bitcoin, so investing in it is a risk it could be the new giant in crypto or it could be a technology that fails, at the end it is up to you to decide if you invest or not.

While I agree a lot of what IOTA promises is very awesome I'm still a little skeptical and concerned by its size given it's still a new technlogy. I think that we will probably see the price climb down a little in the next weeks and it won't challenge bitcoin cash in number 3 spot for quite some time.

It's already valued too high based on expectations alone. This is clearly a speculative bubble and the prices will retreat in the coming weeks. When they do actually deliver a product that is a different case but as of right now it's a useless project with a huge marketcap.

This latest bull run went a lot further than I anticipated. But the answer to this question will come when the new wallet is released and the Tangle can function without the Coordinator as a crutch.

I think it's a Fact, but the price is a little bit too over exaggerated now. I mean it might worth this much if we really see some product out of the project, but not now.

Not gonna lie, the "Internet of Things" talk was enticing enough for me to grab some. Maybe I've been fooled I don't know. Adding Microsoft, Cisco, Volkswagen and Samsung as partners were all great moves.

Their new wallet is also underway this month. Bittrex already has IOTA in their code so I would imagine the IOTA trading on Bittrex will go live sometime after the wallet. It has more pumping to do before the hype is gone.


I'd recon if the BTC bubble corrects hard soon, IOTA may be in line to be the hedge this time around.

Two months ago when iota crashed, everybody was saying; iota is a big scam! stay away! Their dev's are pure shit they are greedy as fuck!

NOW: "Wow, iota is the best altcoin! it made me x4 my money in just a single week! This is far the best altcoin that i have ever used EVER! Their dev's are trully gods! i love them!

This is just the first prove of that everybody is just following money, most of those people who were saying that iota was scam, are the ones who have more than 50% of their portfolio in iota right now.

Although IOTA is gaining momentum in the price charts, there is no reason to purchase it ahead of the other altcoins.

You need to be careful and not to get yourself blinded by the hype, IOTA is one of those technologies that promise to change the way things are done, but we are still not sure if IOTA is going to be a success, think of IOTA as you thought of bitcoin when it was a new technology, it had the potential to become what it is today or it could have failed spectacularly.

Projects as big as IOTA don't just crash and burn, and such a high profile company is definitely not a fraud.

People have been crying scam for quite awhile now.
The more vocal ones go as far to even slander the devs.
There have been technical difficulties with the tech and the wallet has had some issues so a lot of people have been bitter.

For me personally, I would say, just wait and see.
The Tangle is new tech different from blockchain.
In order for it to truly work, it's user base has to grow, so right now it is centrally controlled.
If it ever gets to the point where the training wheels can come off, I see IOTA as the natural evolutionary step from blockchain.

As an example, home movie viewing has never gone away and has even increased in popularity over the years.
But the tech we use to do it has changed numerous times: vhs, dvd, bluray, now streaming.

Everyone loves btc, but inevitably, there will be a better tech that replaces it, but the idea of decentralized digital currency will never go away.
