I recently read in a blog about how bitcoin managed to come out unscathed from the segwit2x scare and stuff...
What exactly is segwit2x?
Is it related to trading?

I guess that you are a newbie, or you have just joined in here and you missed all that thing about Segwitx2

It was going to be a fork, but it got cancelled because it was a complot to make bitcoin bleed.

Seriously you haven't heard anything about this? Bitcoin made a huge crash when it happened, if i am not wrong, segwitx2 got cancelled and they started to spread a massive FOMO about Bcash.

This caused the big switch from bitcoin miners to bcash. And this made the price crash from $6800 to less than $5200 in just one night.

I had some info about the fork and I thought that China cancelling all btc trades was the reason the price dropped so hard in such a short span of time
