Hello everyone, im a Gambler since 2011 when my father wants me to go with him to the live casino, like i was so amazed and so much fun there.

So right now, im 31 years of age and have my own family, i still do gambling even on gambling sites now...
at that moment i realize that, why do we need to gamble? its like a win or loss game, a risky game, put your own money and when you bust it all, there will be some regrets...

I think is just because we'r addicts to it, that's what makes us gamblers and that's why we look to keep gambling even more after bust.

I usually gamble because of the thrill of winning, while playing it is enjoyable and very exciting. I think this is this the reason why we gamble. It is risky and we all know that but the chance to hit a jackpot is all worth it.

The thrive to gamble is a feeling that addicted people constantly have and think of in every minute of their days . They just wanna satisfy that neediness and that desire with any money they can put their hands on . And whenever they practice gambling a feeling of satisfaction gets to them as if they were high on some drugs , thus experiencing a lot of joy .

But recently science have proved that the feeling that the gambler has whenever he is waiting to know the outcome of it's bet is pretty similar to the feeling he gets whenever he wins , and both are similar and occurs on the same part of the brain that is responsible of the enjoyment and happiness feeling .

So even if a gambler keeps loosing he won't quit gambling because wanting to know whether if he won or not and experiencing those moments of hope and getting the urge to gamble are much similar to winning , so no matter the result a gambler addict will always try to gamble more no matter how he looses , because after all winning is not everything !

I completely agree with you on the fact that not just winning but even losing can equally drag one person into continuous betting and gambling because of the thrill that he gets waiting for the result.

Dopamine is a feel good hormone while adrenaline is the rush hormone and these two complement each other, even when the gambler have not actually won, the wait for the result of his gamble brings in a drive of adrenaline which creates a very similar, if not same, condition to winning, i.e. intense thrill and enjoyment. This feeling of rush and kick us quite addictive and leads to strong urge of getting into the same mood. And as a result causes significant amount of addiction towards whatever triggered the hormones, in this case gambling.

Some of my friends and relatives were thinking that I'm addicted gambler seeing how much I play poker online but now, more than two months already, they see that they were wrong.

We need gambling to fill the void and when the void is filled by something else, we don't need to gamble that much.

Yeah you're right, but we have nothing to about that mate because that might be the destiny he choose of his life and I think that is his passion as well and just put in his mind that it will make him entertained instead hoping a quick profit of it.

Gamble is not only for the money talks you may win or lose but you cant explain your feeling and the excitement while your playing and also you gain money and friends.

There are a lot of reasons on why we gamble, some of it has similarities with others. It's sensual pleasure for a person who is an addict to gambling, It's contagious if not treated along with that are the factors that are triggering one person to gamble. Normally the most generic answer is to earn instant money, it is the sole purpose of why people gamble. The idea of doubling your money makes people engage in gambling without considering the effects of it. For some, it became a "Hobby" then after a while it became an addiction. In which some people tend to notice it after a month or a year. Meanwhile, there are people gamble for fun and entertainment. These type people mostly are the one who plays just as a way of releasing their stress, or just to be free for a while.

Also I want to add something to your statement i.e. it becomes a pleasure for them to gamble also it changes into their other life activities which are important for their living alive like eating, sleeping etc. Yeah! It’s hundred percent true that it becomes their involuntary action in life over which they had no control further. This is the golden reason due to which mostly people stick to gambling, just to make instant money.

That is what we called addiction. You just keep on gambling because you are addicted to play. Like any other vices, the excitement of doing that kind is in your system already. In gambling, even win or lose it will satisfy you because that is what makes you happy.

I actually find it quite therapeutic, although some will say this is addiction lol.  The lure of winning big is something that attracts me a lot but i'm also aware of the fact that once i place a bet, it become a binary outcome, either a win or loss.  Although i also feel that it is a risk worth taking sometimes, given that i could place a bet with a considerably small amount against potentially massive returns.  Ultimately though, gambling plays with greed in us i think lol, always wanting more.

That's right. I wish other gamblers could also switch to another activity which is not less entertaining for them than gambling. It's really hard to find one and you can consider yourself very lucky if you managed to do that, but from my personal experience I know that it's possible. One tip: it should be something which can potentially bring you money, otherwise it will hardly replace gambling.

I mainly gamble to enjoy myself and setup a great atmosphere for whatever games i  watch with my squad . It adds more flavor to the whole show and you'll just have one reason to cheer for a team or a player with all your momentum . actually w don't really need to gamble its just some people can resist taking
the risk of winning for a quick money.but in the end they dont win but losses is what
they've got.so why still gamble when we can make living without gambling and just
be contented on our daily income.
