Why do we need to gamble?

Hello everyone, im a Gambler since 2011 when my father wants me to go with him to the live casino, like i was so amazed and so much fun there.
My father loves to play baccarat game and slots, but me as a first timer before, i played slots too...
So right now, im 31 years of age and have my own family, i still do gambling even on gambling sites now...
at that moment i realize that, why do we need to gamble? its like a win or loss game, a risky game, put your own money and when you bust it all, there will be some regrets...
So guys, please answer this, Why do we need to gamble?

For me gamble should only for the sake of entertainment therefore we will go their to have fun, to enjoy and to relieve stress from our everyday works but we should have our limits too that we should always to live a life of moderation and avoid gambling to become a vice that we might forget our family, friends, works and god.

That's really sad because you don't have to pay to be entertained and so i don't agree with your style anyway, you can get entertained by indulging in recreational activities or having a nice time with friends and family without necessarily spending.

I don’t think so that we need to gamble. Gambling is edition and only those people gamble who are edict of gambling otherwise many people do not gamble and in my country gambling is not allowed by the government and you will have to gamble in some secret place rather will be in jail because gambling is illegal. Therefore I want to say that gambling is not necessary for all the people. Many people want to earn by work and not by gambling.

Thats the mistake that they always do, gambling is made to enrich only a few people and the House, those who go to win but they always end up losing their money in the process. But most people don't gamble for profits alone but for fun as well.

The thrive to gamble is a feeling that addicted people constantly have and think of in every minute of their days . They just wanna satisfy that neediness and that desire with any money they can put their hands on . And whenever they practice gambling a feeling of satisfaction gets to them as if they were high on some drugs , thus experiencing a lot of joy .

But recently science have proved that the feeling that the gambler has whenever he is waiting to know the outcome of it's bet is pretty similar to the feeling he gets whenever he wins , and both are similar and occurs on the same part of the brain that is responsible of the enjoyment and happiness feeling .

So even if a gambler keeps loosing he won't quit gambling because wanting to know whether if he won or not and experiencing those moments of hope and getting the urge to gamble are much similar to winning , so no matter the result a gambler addict will always try to gamble more no matter how he looses , because after all winning is not everything !

I completely agree with you on the fact that not just winning but even losing can equally drag one person into continuous betting and gambling because of the thrill that he gets waiting for the result.

Dopamine is a feel good hormone while adrenaline is the rush hormone and these two complement each other, even when the gambler have not actually won, the wait for the result of his gamble brings in a drive of adrenaline which creates a very similar, if not same, condition to winning, i.e. intense thrill and enjoyment. This feeling of rush and kick us quite addictive and leads to strong urge of getting into the same mood. And as a result causes significant amount of addiction towards whatever triggered the hormones, in this case gambling.

In my opinion gamblers want big money in short time and that’s why they gamble and as I have seen that most gamblers do not win rather they lose all their money and the reason is that when they lose they want their money back at that time and they gamble continuously and the conditions does not favor them. I think is probably because we are addicts and we love to do it, even if we lose because it doesnt matter if its about of winning or losing at all.

That’s the thing about gambling. I love the chemistry during the game. I am so addicted to it, but I love the environment of casino and all. I love James Bond and his way of gambling in his movies. His bad as confidence and lust for the game attracts me.

Oh well , gambling is not neccessary for everyone.
They just doing it to earn money in the fastest way.
They are taking the risk of loosing money in the same time.
Its very important that we are being aware on the money that we are handle while we are playing.
We should have some techniques to avoid to much loss.

Please note that gambling is never the way to earn consistent income. You may win a few at first which will make you think you can get rich quick by putting in more money, but that's just it, you won't ever recover if you lose too much.

I agree with you more than hundred percent that gambling can never ever become a way of consistent income because gambling is totally a luck dependent thing while consistent income comes don’t come on luck. I guess you are still gambling at this point since you have been used to it since 2011 and having a family doesn’t make you stop this habbit. I think this is not actually a need of you or those other people who gambles but just a bad habbit to break. Family, relatives and friends that sorrounds you will be helpful if you are having this thoughts on you habbit but yourself will be the key in it.

Gambling is the most easiest way of earning bitcoin or money, but it is also the easiest way of losing investment. Otherwise joining gambling is so hard to delete in our life especially when we will become addict in any games.

I wish everyone can see it as fun. I just feel this is the idea which we have so much placed in our head so that we do not at least end up as addicts. Sometimes, I really do ask myself why we gamble, since we can actually have all this fun without betting any amount anyway but then I end up finding out that the idea of winning or losing in your head itself is the game and where the fun comes.
