This doesn't make any sense, the house will not detect if we are playing gambling just to have some entertainment so we could always win, whatever our reason will be, if we are going to lose then we are going to lose, and the other way around. I guess people that really feel the urge to gamble should seek ways to control this urge. This deems to me like an addiction, and addictions are never good! A person who can control every emotion and every urge is superior to most and will most likely master everything in life.

First of all I would like to correct you. Gambling isnt a need atleast until you are a complete addict. Gambling is a want which is dictated just by greed of money. Its bitter truth but even people who say that they do it for fun actually want to earn money out of it.

That first point is the reason why we have so many addictive gamblers today. They feel they can make a lot of cash from gambling, more like a profit from an investment and once they lose it, they try recovering it back until the lose all, and then end up being some huge addict. I usually gamble because of the thrill of winning, while playing it is enjoyable and very exciting. I think this is this the reason why we gamble. It is risky and we all know that but the chance to hit a jackpot is all worth it.

But life would be dull and disturbingly boring if we didn't succumb to our desires, temptations, and addictions, at least occasionally, from time to time. That would be a hell of a life. That is a simple way to just put it. One thing about gambling is that you may end up losing while getting your blood unnecessarily hot in the process and giving you a sad day when you end up realizing you are wasting your time on what you feel you call a fun and losing a lot in the process which you could have used to catch better fun and be happy paying for it.
