Yes definitely dude, the price of bitcoin now are increasing day by day and there is no sign that the price will drop again, that's good for those who owns a lot of bitcoin.
I think it will reach that amount by late February to first week of April.

I also voted by the end of 2017 in the poll, and I have no doubt the pump will continue up higher than $20k but I'm not sure yet sure if it will reach $25k. The CME is the big wildcard here it could either bring bitcoin to a trillion dollar market cap very fast or it could crash it hard.

yeah price of bitcoin is indeed increasing day by day and you wont see any signs of it that it will drop or increase more because bitcoin is obviously unpredictable and totally unstable for now although this might be change if someone can regulate or manage it soon by banks and governments because i oftenly heard that some countries are planning to it to be implemented. overall i still have a doubt if bitcoin can really reach that high amount because right now im getting a bad feeling that something bad will happen to bitcoin thinking that we are now closer on a bubble phase.

My guess (based on the accelerated move up today) is $20,000 before Dec 10 or thereabouts when the CME futures exchange launches (if I got the date correct?), that is if we don’t top out at $15k here and now and take a breather until next year.

Remember I was very bullish at the bottom of the recent “flashcrash” from $11k, but reminded everyone that was one of the smaller percentage corrections of this bull run.

AFAIK the launch was postponed and is going to take place at the 18th. The first information about it launching in the second week of December was supposedly fake.

The price should go up as people will have to first buy to be able to sell later.

For me maybe By the end of the year 2017. Unless there are no negative issue that can effect bitcoin growth rate. Cause sometimes that is common reason why bitcoin value is fluctuated. As of now bitcoin is stable perhaps it will continue to grow and exceed 20k after year end.

$15k is just around the corner, who knows it will reach before Christmas Day, bitcoin price were climbing too high and congrats for the early adapters and holders. Such a good decision of holding it.

I would say with confidence that next year we're going to see that happen. However, i'm really not sure about whether it is going to happen by the end of this year, as some people suggest will happen at this point. Even though we have indeed seen exceptional amounts of volume going into buying bitcoin, it still does not justify a 50% rise in value for BTC within 20 days, in my opinion at least.

But as i said, just wait till next year and see.

March/April would be a conservative estimate, perhaps earlier.

Right now I don't see a scenario where this doesn't happen before march of next year. I know that the situation is ever changing but right now bitcoin is absolutely rampaging and if it continues I can't see how we won't reach 20k before then.

although we don't know when the price is going to hit $20k, we can only predict the price still increase in january next year and I predict that the price will hit in that month or less. and if we calculate the price before, we only need few weeks to reach the higher price. this is good for bitcoin because more people will see bitcoin make a new price level.

Yeah that was what i was thinking as well.

Basically, it's going to be pretty easy for bitcoin to get to $20k. I mean we've already broken the 5 figure barrier and that was the real barrier before the year long bitcoin rally just starts to go parabolic. $20k is only doubling the price we're seeing now, not difficult whatsoever(actually less than 2x at current prices).

The timing is what will be interesting to see though. Will we see pullbacks pause the progress we've made or will this just be a smooth run all the way up? I would say january next year as well, but maximum february or start of march.

In some site, the price is at 15k. Some blogs are even saying that it will spike to at least 20k$ by the end of this year. It is really hard to predict but i think it has attracted many curios people when it reached this price. I could also tell that their will be some clogs in the blockchain server. A lot of transaction especially now that it is christmas. Many hodlers will have a one time transaction for the holidays.

Instead of thinking that, just try to take advantage of what it is today. It's not making sense to know when that $20,000 will hit because basically no one knows. It might be later, might be tomorrow, might be next week etc.

There "might" be an event that will happen on the way that can pumped hard the price to $20,000, same goes also for a dump. For now, let's just enjoy what bitcoin is giving to us. Remember that while bitcoin price is increasing, make sure that we are really getting the benefits of it thru riding the crazy trend.
