I had about 10-20 BTC on Tradehill which I was never able to recover. I still have the private key that sent a 10 BTC deposit (not sure if there were more). I tried reaching out to Jered Kenna back in 2013 but he never replied. Also talked to Adam Stradling at some point and he told me he basically didn't know anything and to talk to Jered. At the current price of Bitcoin, 10 BTC would be a life changing amount of money for me and I'm wondering if I should pursue this recovery quest...

Anyone else in the same boat? What would you do?

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Yes, I'm in the same boat.  I also have probably lost my private keys though.  I'm hoping to at least get the addresses or transaction id's to help me with my search.  If I knew the public addresses or transactions I would use them to help my search on my old computers/hard drives etc, because I assume I wrote them down somewhere.

If you have the private key, why can't you just recover the addresses? (btw, if that works, I expect a finder's fee LOL)
