Hi,

I am looking for a way to accept bitcoin payments on my website for services/products that I would sell. I am aware of existing merchant services, but I am looking for a way to avoid using them to enable me to avoid paying their fees and to pass along my savings to prices that I would charge customers.

Is there a way to use an existing bitcoin API style system that allows users to send Bitcoin to an address that lets them know when the transaction was confirmed and the ability for me to cross reference their order/transaction number with what they are trying to buy on my site so I know which customer paid.

Thanks for any information.
