Hi. I have two Avalon Asics from batch two. I'd like to sell one or both. Both units have black cases. One has sexy black fan grills, the other has shiny chrome fan grills. Asking price is BTC155 each or 300 for both. This includes free Fedex 2-day shipping with insurance in the continental US. Please PM or email to Elizabeth.a.Greene@gmail.com I'm willing to do escrow with JohnK. Serious bidders Only: If you'd like me to swing one or both of these over to your BTCGuild account as "proof of life", send me a worker username/password and I will. I have a small farm and I'm selling these for additional capital. This will go towards a tractor, fencing and cows. Thanks for looking! As a hardware connoisseur, I can say with complete confidence your asking price is much too high. If you really want to sell these, make them competitive with the many BFL ASICs that are now widely available on the secondary market.
Just offering a little help.

Doubtful at best.

Not anymore. Not with the recently difficulty increase. These will only make about 1.5 btc per day each at current difficulty. And difficulty is only continuing to rise. If they have no chance of paying for themselves, no one will ever buy them. 125 btc or so is a reasonable starting price.

As a consumer interested in potentially purchasing an in-hand ASIC, here are my considerations:
1) Difficulty has risen 300+% in the past 90 days 2) The rate at which ASICS are reaching consumers is increasing, not decreasing. 3) Points 1 and 2 reveal that, at current difficulty, an extremely optimistic estimate places my daily income within 6 months at ~$22 per day. A much more realistic estimate, and still a potentially optimistic one, places my daily income within 6 months at ~$4-8 per day.
This being said, I'd be interested at around 50-120 BTC for the device, depending on which scenario I consider to be most likely. The only reason I would even consider paying more than 100 BTC right now for one of these ASICs is due to the potential that the price of Bitcoin will rise substantially over the coming months, and this is by no means a guarantee.
Put another way, I would only purchase an ASIC if I was very confident that I would meet or exceed 100% ROI within ~6 months.

People pay 77 BTC for these units. Nobody will sell them for less than that. They will only sell for more. 180 is a tad high but its not as outrageous as yochdog selling FPGA singles for $1000.

Just looked at the prettiest Angus cows you've ever seen. They are three sisters, on their first, second, and third calf respectively. Their mom was their too, though not for sale. She was on her 11th calf.
Lowered price. (Cow fever.)
