If I try to find a topic about something, how do I know if there is a topic posted in this forum before? Please give me some suggestions about the way of finding a topic, so that i can know about anything without posting a new thread.

the best way is use google.com with this form  "" what do you want to find" + bitcointalk.org" or if you know name of the person, who created that topic you can use "search" function of this forum

Well I will be specific your asking that how to get into a old thread go to the number of pages. As everyone told you, you have to search on out search engine at top right. Remember to read it carefully and if you want instant search try on google but you should reallybsearch here.
