Im wondering if and how the different algos have been effected by the nicehash hack.

These are my assumptions now and please correct me if Im wrong:

1. Being on of the biggest mining pools not all of the miners they had have migrated (yet) to other pools and maybe some small percentage will fall of the wagon.

2. Theirs subscription plans / renting hash power subscriptions now not currently online, a huge demand of hashing power has been taken out of the pool (temporarily at least) increasing profitability hopefully.

Would love to hear your thoughts.

Cheers  Smiley

I don't think it will effect overall difficulty level much, but straight coin mining is certainly more profitable at the moment, my guess is due to rigs switching to pools and the ones that aren't aware of the hack yet...

Until people won't turn on the rigs there will be a smaller difficulty. But I think, big farms were not mining on nicehash Wink
