ltc is good for invest

New Altcoins are pretty much gambling, you can make triple your money in a short time or lose it all.
Litecoin is more unlikely to lose all value, but it's still quite risky - way more than Bitcoin already is.
(I think Litecoin will crash once it's on Gox btw)

You can play the alt market on Cryptsy. Put in buy orders low, when they fill, put a sell order with a 25% markup and repeat. Pick a variety of coins and make sure you are buying low. Will take a bit for the orders to fill sometimes, but you will make an excellent percentage and have some fun while doing it.

I might try Cryptsy but I have no idea where to invest (which coin...).

Yes, if you trust TradeFortress, this is the best option so far (and easiest) Smiley

just-dice rely on luck... If you invest when the website is up, and then big whales come and take all the profit, you can lose 10 or 20 % of your investment quickly. But if you invest when the website is down, and then it wins a lot, you can make a quick profit. So, be careful. It is not "safe"

Sure your chances are better to win as the house. But 1% house edge isn't a lot, just a bit of variance in the wrong direction and your profit is gone. It's more likely that you will profit in the long run but it isn't guaranteed.

The best you are going to get is a return equal to the risk. Probably CoinLenders.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.

Maybe buy small amounts of many different mining shares. To many to list but here a few leads :

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=135035.0;all (Havelock exchange thread)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=252531.0;all (AMC thread)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=49840;sa=showPosts (Friedcat's posts)

Will go up and down unlike a CD, but if you're holding BTC it will go up and down anyway.

But how to know if it's a scam or legit company. Ponzi or not?
And if the owner is trusted or not?

Sad

You don't. That is why you have to do the eggs in many baskets thing.
