In my own opinion , it's only hard forking that can ease the ethereum blockchain, an hard fork should be done for game developers, because this crypto kitties is really disturbing transactions on ethereum blockchain.

It is a pain for another hard fork but if it is the only solution to get rid of these kittens and put them on a separate blockchain, then it should be done immediately. They are disrupting businesses already, exchanges are locking erc20 and ETH deposits and withdrawals while the congestion is still existing.

I suggest you to put around 50 gwei for every of your transaction in the ethereum blockchain. that should have done easily in my opinion. Crypto kitties is disturbing the ethereum network users caused by the crypto kitties users in compete to put the more fees.

hardfork is only the last choice, and i hope there will be no hardfork anymore in ethereum,,
