I didn't see that one coming, but as long as there is a correction after the increase, I am fine. I can only hope that the graph does not go vertical, as this would mean the end of the bull run and possible pop of the bubble.

Things are getting out of hand now. It's crazy what Bitcoin can do. I see a great opportunity in alt coins right now, after BTC will fall, they will go up.

I was watching as it was happening. Times like that I wish I held my coins on the exchange so I could sell them high and buy when they are low. I don't have a ton of bitcoin but I have enough where I could have earned a nice little chunk of change and re-invest to get a little more bitcoin. I know it isnt good to keep your bitcoin on the exchange but darn it this time it would have been nice to have them there. By the time it would have taken me to transfer from my Ledger to GDAX and have it confirmed it would have already dumped back down.

Actually thinking of throwing them onto the exchange now in case it happens again. (I doubt it will though and if it did spike back up to 19k knowing my luck I would sell it to make some profit and it wouldnt go back down it would keep going up) I'll most likely keep it in my ledger.

It was definitely was crazy to watch though. One second I checked it was at 7800 I checked again 2 minutes later it was at 8400 checked again a minute later it was up to 9200. bitcoin amazes me still.

Bitcoin is traded like an alter coin today. I can't remember the last time it had such a massive swing. Some analyst like Ronnie Moas is still calling space to grow. Never than ever, I am eager to see a correction of Bitcoin as certainly don't the whole thing to explode massively. The people buying now are not in the understanding of the technology or the vision, they are in it to be rich very soon. When the time comes, price might correct very fast but it may not be a bad thing for the long term.

Btw: a popular fintech company Revolut has added crytocurrency to all its million debit card customer, expect a spike from these buyers too.

I think its has something to do with Coinbase having huge volume obviously, but I'm seeing the price at marketcap just above $16K now. The demand coming for Asia and the United States are really pushing the price to new heights. Its really unstoppable as you guys put it. We haven't yet seen the first bitcoin future contracts but the price is going up very quickly. So we may expect the price to go up leading to Dec 10 when CBOE will have its first trading. Its gonna be historic.

I am pretty sure that was a malfunction because it went up around 50% which didnt really happen. Which is likely way they went offline, and had to do "maintenance". This happened with ethereum in the summer as well, so no one really made $19k for a bitcoin. However I do think that it can hit $19k in the future. Gotta love the crypto currency maintenance outages when people want to profit take :p

What's with the danger?are you thinking and starting to believe those bubble folks that are talking about bitcoin is like this one and it's about to pop? or you are worried about the great crash / correction that's about to come? Don't be too focus with the danger of bitcoin, be positive if the price of bitcoin is increasing this high and if it's corrected then just take time to buy.

A bubble may burst soon after this insane jumps that triggers a red flag tbe price may sooner go down or enters a price correction with only a minimum decrease on bitcoin's price this should slow things down and not we may not be able to reach 20k usd this year. Although im really bad at speculation but who knows it might reach 40k next year just be optimistic good things will happen.

I just think it was too high of a jump. It's not healthy for any stock or asset to jump in value as quick as it did today.

The demand for Bitcoin is skyrocketing because investors all over the world are reading about it everyday now and Wall Street is coming into the arena.
I know it sounds crazy, but after seeing the price movement surges in recent weeks, we may see $50,000 or even 6 figures next year.

The rally is really really crazy,i never expected to see these sort of valuation in the price of bitcoin ,but this is too much to take in such a short amount of time and that is what worries me in the first place ,these instant growth might burn down later,i wanted to see a gradual and healthy growth,but this is a crazy ride.

We re seeing over $1k increase per day. It's very cool if you're holding. But I don't want to get carried away. We will surely go down sooner or later. And when that happens, I just want to be prepared.

For old long time holders this is more like a "dream" than reality.  I have been hopeful over the years but this is beyond even my wildest expectations.  Sure, it'll correct but the trend seems only UP.  They are running BTC announcements all over the national media where I live.  The public here is buzzing over BTC.  Its amazing.

So amazing! I think it is not dangerous but instead it will serve as a great benefit because of the great profit. Let us hope that btc price will not go down and will continue to increase.
