Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Upwork seem to be good and since I'm working as a freelance writer in there, I haven't encountered any issues all throughout the day that I'm working except for bitcointalk and yeah, blockchain.info. This seem to be a horde of people searching for the site causing some malfunction in forum's PHP code or idk. Not into that stuff but the database error has been persisting for over 5 hours now, as I observed. Not much of a nuisance though if you still have life outside the forum.
