Hi, I'm just starting out as an investor, I have 500$, and I feel like I'm ready to invest, where can I look at stocks, for semi-long term (½ year) investments? Smiley Huh
The most community backed coin would be Ethereum. The people that want that coin know that there is a lot of people that need it for their crowdsales.

Etherium have some issues need to resolve/fix in this past few days I believe this etherium have a bright future like bitcoin ecause most new ico project introduced in crpyocurrency world are eth based token another good altcoin to invest in long term are Eos & Monero with a good developer inside.
Before putting your money in altcoin you need to know its background and goal in there project.

With such money I would advise to pay attention to the top coins that have not been for a long time pamped for example. maybe QTUM, Stratis

for semi-long term investements, you should try that three low cost:

UTN (very soon on exchanges)
ETN (for now on cryptopia)
IOTA (for now on bitfinex)

There are tons to invest in but finding the right few in a thousand will make you rich. I'd recommend reading as much info about the alt coin before buying but honestly I've made some bad trades and come up on those as well so it's all a gamble lol.

choose ethereum, since you have $500 much better to invest to an altcoin that is already stable and supports by many people and also already prove its name.

I can understand that logic but I would rather bet in an altcoin that is still very undervalued. I strongly believe the top currencies are now tremendously inflated. Why? Do you know what's the price for the major companies stocks? No?

Then check it out and compare!

Alphabet - 1,049 USD
Apple - 170 USD
Tesla - 341 USD
Microsoft - 84 USD

Now, can you please explain the value of ETH, BCH, BTG, XMR, etc... no to mention BTC itself?

This is crazy!
