Taking profit helps sleep and reduces stress.   Travel, stay in a better hotel than usual, fly business or first, life is for enjoying, not just for watching the numbers change on the screen.

Someone took profit buying 2 pizzas with 10,000 Bitcoin. I doubt he sleeps well and has less stress.

In his defense I have to say those pizzas look yummy.

I think 'could have been' type stress is not nearly as destructive as the 'I might lose all or a good portion of my assets' type stress that a lot of bitcoin (and stock, bond, forex, etc.) traders are doing to themselves.   For myself, I should say that taking profits means holding 80 cents, selling 20, putting 15 into another play, and just playing with 5.   Another rule for me is, no margin trading, in fact no debt whatsoever.... that helps for a good night's sleep as well.

Don't stress it's not healthy for you as for not sleeping you need to take a step back and look from another perspective. I don't stress over the numbers but do find myself checking what's been happening in the markets in an almost daily routine.

I bought BTC a couple of months ago, if the price drops I still can sleep, no worries about that. The only reason why BTC didn't increase further this weekend is the introduction of the futures. it will go up again this week ..

Should I be happy for loosing my BTCs for hackers or should I be happy that I dont own anything now or should I be happy for getting enough sleep?

Since i started with bitcoin a few years ago, i can not sleep anymore, i am always working on all my investments, not just of crypto, i am talking about online-bussiness.

But this is a mess too, i am only sleeping more or less of about 4 hours a day, but i am normal.. only that a few times i am getting a little bit stressed and that is killing me out.

But i am happy, i really like this life-style, maybe this is the first time that i am making a bunch of money every month, i prefer it instead of a regular job.

I am yet to understand  the madness in people overstretching their bodies in the quest to make so much money, only to end up spending same in search of good health! I suggest moderation as the best choice in every single thing we do. As for trading in Bitcoin or altcoins, sleepless nights become inevitable unless a trader is equipped with the right trading knowledge and skills. Beyond that, pampering oneself off of some of the profits, from time to time can be quite soothing and reassuring, life's for the living!
