The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

For me no, I don't think the team behind it are very good and don't have much belief in its future chances for both adoption and development. It is the result of a fork from bitcoin a few months ago now.

Bitcoin gold or bitcoin cash or other useless currencies that use the name of bitcoin and created by a hardfork, are mainly genetically modified bitcoins. Their network difficulty is low and that's why few greedy miners are still mining these coins. But in long run these are not going to sustain.

Invest in bitcoin only. It is the pioneer in crypto currency world and immensely popular. If you really want to make good amount of money, invest in bitcoin. There are few altcoins like ETH, Neo, dash or litecoin are also there, but never consider BTG or BCH.

All of these forks of Bitcoin, all they do is get some hype in the start of their creation and when people are able to get their forked coins and sell them. They have LITERALLY no usage and are just for selling to make a couple bucks on, that's how it works. These coins are shitty, and don't take much to actually get off the ground.

So no, nothing forked off of bitcoin has usage and a future --> shit coins.

Yes in very beginning the investors like to trade these coins but later one they do not show any interest there, and that is the reason that we cannot see any significant change in the price of such coins. Most of the people are only interested in bitcoin and they only like to invest money in bitcoin.

I'm still surprised that bitcoin gold is still around. BTG is just another failed btc fork from devs who wanted to get some quick money. BTG has no usage whatsoever, has some shady people behind it, and overall, its only purpose is to trick newcomers into thinking that bitcoin gold is actually a thing in the cryptocurrency market when in reality it's just another shitcoin/pump and dump scheme.

So, is BTG worth it? absolutely not. Hopefully, it'll dissapear in the future.

Fork are created for one purpose only, that is to make a lot of money in a very short time. Making forks off of bitcoin gives the forked coins a temporary value and it's good for selling off and investing the money into somewhere better like bitcoin and ethereum I believe. The forks are all scam coins so make money out of it while you can and get out.

I thought it was not a very good thing and would not keep it, but I would not think that way for what I think is just a definite for the selection of coins that really promises.

Wait, what?
These altcoins that you're talking about on your last sentence, aren't they are also a modified bitcoin? - http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/altcoin

As for the OP, BTG isn't a bad choice since it have a cheaper price as of the moment.
Also, there's a higher chances for profit on BTG than BCH because the latter have already a bigger marketcap. (it's less likely for a 2x, 3x etc)
