Chips rated 282 Mh/s. BKKCoins has 341 Mh/s as very stable 0 errors under prototype conditions. Likely 341 is not the upper limit for a K1 air cooled with a fan.

Note: to others with boards, eg. TH. If you can get ferrite beads (as in updated BOM) then you may want to test with them cut into the AVDD PLL power lines on each chip). I can't say if they'll help but they could make all the difference here, and it would be nice to know for a final board.

Items will be posted from Indonesia. Not sure on postage costs right now as we are talking with dhl about that currently. We can definitely ship to the Uk though.

No we do not have these on hand as the k1 design will to be finalised for another 3-4 days and the chips won't come for another week. After that they go straight into production. So we should be ready to ship in 3-4 weeks.

I expect to complete a final revision of the board in a couple days, and then order a batch for final testing. The K16 has been verified and this is based on that, uses same firmware and cgminer driver, which are working, though quite basic still. Once boards are ordered I'll have time to polish the code and get a bootloader added (which allows upgrading via USB).

For anyone planning to use the board design for their own project / products, note that I will be changing it to the QFN version of the PIC and the parts list will have some changes.

The K16 has been running quite well for me in testing. The HW error rate is still a bit high and I think some board changes planned will help with that.

Our best hope will be Avalon chips arrive in 2 weeks or less.

We also hope to have Gerbers next week and pay for our Fabricator to source BOM 2 weeks.

If everything aligns properly then production starts 2 to 3 weeks from now.

That would be sweet... but luck would have to be on all our sides and shipping would follow the 24 hour burn in time.

I haven't seen it happen again after changing the USB cable to the high quality one from my Canon camera that has a ferrite core near the board connector.

I've wired in the inverters now. The signal has very sharp/fast rise times now and it's easy to see the clock delay is 50nS. I tested it manually in ktest and got all GOOD nonces up to 420 MHz doing repeat work filling the queue . At 430 MHz they came back BAD.

Unfortunately on cgminer the error rate hasn't improved. I haven't run that long yet but I'm seeing 3% - 5% error rates. I believe this is now related to noise on the PLL and instability. It can go quite a long time with no errors, and just when I think Ok, it's down to 1% now, but then a bunch pop up and it's back to 3%.

I'm moving onto final board revisions now. Hope to have a new K16 release later today and k1 tomorrow sometime.
