i dont bash.

i only see that there is "enter" on the page, and no text that this doesnt work.

its like a store with an "open" shield, and the door is locked.

why i should sell all my coins now, i dont know. not very professional answer...

I don't understand why you guys are so worried about the frontend. If you go and read the FTC forum it is openly stated that they are working on the backend and will be fixing the problems soon. The front page is just a way to tell you guys whats gonna be released. And trust me the Gateway thing is really huge. And for such thing time is needed and to add more the developers are not only working on a single thing so it was expected that many problems will occur. If you are losing your trust then you can read this thread to know more about PXC developers.

http://forum.phenixcoin.com/index.php/topic,59.0.html

am am not loosing trust, and i appreciate these things u are doing.
but i dont wanna read all 3 forums to know why the enter doesnt work.
but i see u dont wanna understand me.

and the frontend is the first thing a user will see. why there is no message on the frontend that u are working on it and the enter will work soon..... i dont know.

nevertheless. keep on working and i am happy to see this big thing coming soon.

p.s. i wont sell all my coins. i still dont know why i should do it Huh?

Hold on you are mistaking me as a developer. I am not a part of the team. I am just a PXC holder like you but with more knowledge of the coin and I know all the three developers a little bit too. I know you guys want to see the website in working condition and that is what the developers want to see. But they want it to be perfect specially Iamatrix aka Mike he is a perfectionist and tries to make every thing perfect without any bugs. Thats is why they beta tested the exchange site.

Also keep in mind that the service which is going to be released is not for traders like us it is for those website owners who want to accept cryptos as there payment options. So you don't need to take tensions.

EDIT: Who told you to sell your coins it is your own decision. If you believe in it then keep if not sell.

When UNOCS was announced they said that they will give something (without clarification what) on that specific address, and put up timer so people would come in and wait for what is going to be released under that address. Now that same address shows some image, some text and nothing explanatory what the hell is going one

They wanted us to follow that specific address day by day, second by second waiting when timer will hit 0, and now we are mad because that address doesn't say or clarify anything for us. And that address doesn't have link to some forum thread that gives that information.

You know .. when you watch some sports game on tv and something happens they put up message "connection lost, will be back soon" ... they don't expect us to go into channel website forum to know why suddenly we see black screen instead of game

Angry? Why be angry? Because they can't use the payment gateway?  Grin Or because they want to dump their PXC for 3x the price they bought them?

No because there is no message that they are working on it

The devs are working on it very hard. Give them a break. And if not, move along or come back in 24-48 hours. Shit happens.
It needs to be safe and as bugfree as possible, that takes the time it takes. I prefer that over screwing it up.

and it takes 1 minute for developers to put up message saying - shit happened, don't worry, we will release system later in few days.

True, there could have been a message but the only crowd looking at it right now, is a group of traders, ready to dump their coins. Not the group of people the gateway is ment for in the first place, like webshops, online casino's, etc. They'll hear when it's ready and how to implement it.
Wrong, they gave that link on UNOCS anouncement and put up time so everybody who is interested in these coins would wait and watch what will be released on that specific address. Now they expect that noone will look there?

you are 100% right about the message thing. But the UNOCS is telling us whats is going to be released now the timer has ended now you only have to wait for the real thing. Trust me that Gateway thing is not a small thing and also it is not meat to be used by traders. It will be used by online websites to accept payments in cryptos. Thus bringing more people towards cryptos. Just have some more patience if you can wait for 11 days you can also wait more.

Ye that is the problem, they created all this hype and now this... I would have to say they brought this on themselves by all this building up. Having people in the forum, OMG OMG just 5 days, get your coins now, OMG OMG only 2 days left you have to buy coins before it hits 0. Then it hits zero, nothing, then it hits zero again and still nothing, not even any info.

Doesn't look good. My advice for the future, if you are not 100% certain you can deliver, don't hype it.

Cheesy ok maybe "mad" and "angry" are too strong words, but they could make some effort to inform people, otherwise it is simply not nice to those who are very interested in what they will be releasing.

So all this waiting for the timer to hit zero. And now we only see an entrance screen, with nothing new on it, where the enter doesnt even work?

This Bridge thing is a big deal. Even just the announcement of it. Consider what Gox did for bitcoin with their merchant tools. Now consider that this is a very similar service but available for the UNOCS coins (and who knows maybe others too?). If you want to see market cap rise, this is the way to make it happen.

Team,

Unfortunately, just when you think a piece of software is ready to rock and roll, a last minute bug or two appears and slaps you in the face. Since UNOCS Bridge deals with the secure transfer of coins between parties, I understand the dev team to spend additional time stomping it out. Obviously, this launch didn't go as expected.. ok, lessons learned. I accept responsibility and will just have to hope that the end result will justify the pain up-front in your eyes.

I'm just waiting for the final green light from the team. As soon as I hear back, I'll immediately update this post.

So is there anything actually live or was the launch just to inform us the first project being released?

Who is designing the website?

  • It gets stuck on infinite loading loops 24/7
  • Looks like a seventh grader made it
  • Has insecure directories

What a trainwreck this has been so far. Seems the counter was a countdown to EPIC FAIL.

Only thing saving the day for me is the laughs I got from this:

Something as insignificant of a counter for a release does not reflect the coding abilities of the developers.

Great logic there. You live the rest of your life by it, must be an interesting life...

-Something as insignificant as not being able to add 2+2 does not reflect the math abilities of the person.
-Something as insignificant as not being able to hit a nail with a hammer does not reflect the house building abilities of the person.
-Something as insignificant as not being able to spot an obvious pump and dump does not reflect the money making abilities of the person trading cryptos.

Good luck  Grin

I hadn't seen this yet but love the looks of the design, very professional! Also thanks iamatrix for keeping us up to date on the bug fixing. Surely best the site be bug free with a slight delay then no delay and frustrating ya know?

Great work guys knew choosing PXC was going to be a winner  Cool
