Tomorrow is the big day for BURST - and for the PoCC.
We would like to take this opportunity to take a step back and look at
the bigger picture - the context in which The Dymaxion will be placed.
First and foremost you should know that the Dymaxion is the result of
dilligent research, pragmatic approach and hard work. We believe, in
2018 it will change the landscape of crypto currencies.
While our expectations may be as big as yours, we would like to warn
everyone from unrealistic speculation. We heard phrases like "it will
kill X or destroy Y..."
It won't. Certainly not immediately and most certainly not
intentionally.
The PoCC didn't come to destroy anything, it came to create something.
There is no need to compete in some destructive or cannibalistic way
with other (formidable) cryptocurrencies. A community of a coin that
was a few months back on the verge of extinction, should never again
adopt that kind of thinking.
We all know the state Burst was in, when the PoCC arrived at the
scene. The PoCC has heard many times how it would have been better to
let Burst die and make some "other new PoC coin" without all the
problems attached to Burst. We ignored these voices, because from both
experience and intuition we knew that you don't shoot a black swan,
just because it has a broken wing. The wing can heal.
We hope, tomorrow you will see that we were right picking up Burst and
pushing it to new levels. Also, we are convinced that in the future
even the most stubborn naysayers will learn to take Burst as a given.
For the PoCC it is at the moment desireable, important and sufficient
to get Burst at eye level with the big cryptocurrencies. We want Burst
to be taken seriously by the users, the exchanges and the markets in
general. The agenda is literally "taking Burst to the next level" and
not "fighting other cryptos".
Which returns us to the "drama" aspect again. The PoCC will not
participate in any drama. Not in any intra-community drama, but in
future also not in any inter-currency drama.
We will continue to work hard to make Burst the best cryptocurrency by
any conceivable metric. It's still a long way to go, but we think that
"doing our thing" and not spending any energy on advocacy, evangelism
or even zealotry will allow us to move faster to our goal than
anything else.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us
so far and let's see how B the FA tomorrow will be.
