That's why majority of people interested to use the centralized exchange site rather than etherdelta because every act on there will cost you the more fees. I was actually moving towards the centralized exchange site rather than use decentralized exchange with ridiculous high fees for every transaction.

This is why the transaction speed and low cost fees are usually a subjective matter when used to compare against Bitcoin. If an alt ever gets to the type of usage and demand of Bitcoin and ETH, you will see that all alts will have their own scaling issues. At least  Bitcoin and Ethereum are prepared and are constantly working to scale and grow. Can other alts have the same ability in coding and development? Look at Bitcoin Gold and then you have your answer. It is one thing to claim, another thing to do.

Transactions in etherdelta are now too expensive, and every movement we make in ED  they charge. So maybe it's time to say good bay with etherdelta , and move to another exchange.

this is just the beggining and soon etherium will follow the footsteps of bitcoin which is higher fees for every  single transactions.

yeah i totally agree on it. waves is much cheaper and faster without any known problems when compared  to etherium and bitcoin.

yeah your right. most people including me are always prefer the other centralized exchange when compare to the ether delta's centralized exchange in order for us to avoid high transaction fees but even if etherdelta is decentralized and has a lower fees i wont still use it because it is crappy, buggy and really really slow to load its web pages. i think the main reason why etherdelta is verry slow it is because more people are using it due to the fact that it is the only one exchange that supports all kinds of tokens/coins whether it is  new or old.

Ethereum is still close to the all time high and everything but bitcoin is taking a beating right now.

Look at Bitcoin transactions, it's way worse, and it's been around much longer. There is probably many people not moving their bitcoin until they can use the lightning network because right now there is just no point.

transaction fees for ethereum have always been like this because ethereum is a broken altcoin with a lot of bugs. a couple of months ago it went up as high as $2.5 and nobody cared because everyone including the whales controlling the price are on centralized exchanges like poloniex and are manipulating the price there. they don't even make a translation in their whole lives apart from cashing out the bitcoin profit or USD profit they gain from pumping it.

it will die in long run though. you can't have an altcoin like this and survive while other platforms like Waves exist and have no issue like this.

EtherDelta causes a lot of criticism, but there is an opportunity to make a profit, so we have to put up with all the shortcomings if we want to earn more..

I think this is ridiculous, I was just getting use to using EtherDelta after the Bittrex thing, but that is too high for a transaction, I think most of these developers are now seen that they are hypocrite with their attack on BTC when the transaction went up

I have also heard that rumor, and I have transfer alomst all my asset to binnace since I do not know if it is true. I hope it is just a rumor, or it will be a big hit on the crypto world.

Waves dex's fee is definitely cheaper but the volume is low and there's only a few selection of token to be traded. I thought etherdelta will be a great exchange after Byzantium fork but it only last for 2 months before it fall again at the hand of kitties. They will be fine though if the network is normal again so it always depends on how ethereum will solve this problem.

$1 is cheap compared to the likes of bitcoin where you are now looking at $20+ on every transaction.

I don't think it's finished, but it's definitely funny considering all the ETH heads were laughing when bitcoins fees went up. Until there's lightening/raiden, all blockchains have the same fete. That's why IOTA is surging.

60 gwei? Why so high? Yesterday i set 15 and it confirmed in 1.5 hours.
I think also bad thing happen because of the cat application.
