The price of bitcoin hugely depends on demand and supply as compared to other factors such as whales manipulating prices, FUDs and so on. Imagine 2/3 of the world's population deciding to invest/trade in bitcoin. The increase in demand will surely lead to an increase in price since the amount of bitcoins are fixed at 21million. The value of bitcoin could be unimaginably high as more and more people get into the bitcoin market.

There is many reason that make bitcoin price high
In 2017 i think the main reason which make bitcoin price's high is ICO. if investors want to invest in the new project have to buy Bitcoin, and you knew that 2017 is the year of ICO

In 2018, Bitcoin is a debate for everyone because the bitcoin price every day decreases. Everyone feels panicked. I think it remains optimistic to see the current market price drop.

I think this is the inherent imbalance of supply and demand. In that supply is gold and demand is too much expectation of value will increase again of bitcoin. So its so rare that the value bitcoin soared

I think this is the inherent imbalance of supply and demand. In that supply is gold and demand is too much expectation of value will increase again of bitcoin. So its so rare that the value bitcoin soared

Bitcoin's value is down from sometime and it is not able to recover.Bitcoin is famous due to its volatile value only.Its value depends upon a number of factors like the forces of demand and supply,the amount of investment done in Bitcoin,how much countries supporting Bitcoin or have banned it play a major role in determining its price.2017 was the year of bitcoin and people are expecting the same this year too.People are holding their bitcoins as they have faith in it.

The more people who want it the more the value will grow.  Bitcoin has not hit the main population yet.  Until that happens I see a continually increasing value over time.  There will be dips and peaks but the trend should be up.

Right now though the demand is not high enough to push the price even further. But for me, at the current price, it is still very good and one of the best investment that you can find. Although others wanted it to move into the $20K range, this year will not be that year. The main reason is that there are a lot of negativity right now and the bulls are still outside, observing what will happened to the market. So don't expect too much this year so that you won't be disappointed at the end.
