so, avalon, would you please answer whats your status on those orders made in april? when will you deliver first batches?

Are you surprised. They haven't finished shipping batch 3. Every batch was delayed. What made you think chips would have shipped faster.

Hopefully Avalon is shipping the chips they receive from the foundry as soon as they can and not sitting on them.
I can't think of a good reason why they would sit on the chips, but I guess we won't know until bulk chip order purchasers actually start receiving chips.

You wont get your chips until avalon shipped all batch 3 units. It would screw all their batch3 customers if they ship the chips before. They should also give the b3 users 2 months to mine with it.. before flooding the market with cheap chips

Why should they care? And avalon isnt the only one creating miners. I only see that yifu wrote in his newsletter that batch 3 and chip batches both start mid july. |

Batch 3 Avalon buyers are not guaranteed to make a profit. Avalon gave batch 3 buyers a chance to cancel their orders, so I don't feel the least bit sorry for them if they chose to stick it out knowing about the huge difficulty adjustments that are coming. Avalon would be cutting off their nose to spite their face if they delayed bulk chip shipments just to make batch 3 buyers happy. |
