to the others please be aware if you want using poloniex service

I really liked poloniex, especially the trollbox, poloniex was a good exchange, they had low fee, trollbox, a good interface to make trade and had a good user base, frankly I do not understand why poloniex became equal or worse than yobit... I gave up using poloniex.

Fucking scam exchanger

You can also hire a lawyer to solve your problem. According to what I heard, poloniex has a representative who is in a strange place and this physical representative does not know what bitcoin and not even what poloniex does. I already forgot the link of this story and I do not know if it is true or not .

The worst thing about it is that literally there is nothing that you can do to help aid the situation. Apart from waiting, of course. When you have an issue with poloniex it's literally the stuff of nightmares because you know the exchange is functional yet you'll never get your money back on time. Just horrendous customer support that has always been this way since probably April.

I've quit using poloniex and even bittrex, because both have locked accounts without warning.

I hope you can get your money back soon, man.

No sir, there is nothing you can do. Absolutely nothing. Zero.

Forget lawyers, courts, threats of litigation and police reports. Engaging any of them requires money. And even if they act, there is no light at the end of the tunnel. This is an exchange which pretty much shares the same notoriety Yobit is known for.

I would advice this: continue making contact with Poloniex. Remind them to look into your account's issues. I know it might look like talking to a wall but they might one day realize you're one stubborn PITA for them and will or might resolve this months-old issue.

Stop storing coins in an exchange. They control the private keys of your exchange account so any coins on that account are never yours in the first place. It might look nice and impressive. A professionally designed wallet with all the important sounding words and impressive terms like "Your Assets". If you do not know the private key, you have no assets.

Yeah, better go with the true ones. You can recognize them by their boosted morale and legitimacy.

What do you mean the true ones?

Basically every major exchange has one problem or another. I used to think that bittrex is the perfect alternative for poloniex since they screwed up their act but i was dead wrong - every single person has been complaining about bittrex ignoring their support ticket and not letting them withdraw their money and/or verify their account even though they've provided the right information with them.

It's just an unwritten rule these days. Even the major exchanges will screw you up, so don't store what you can't afford to lose and get your coins out as soon as you do the exchange.
