Why should bitcoin be embraced globally?
There are many reasons why Bitcoin and the blockchain technology should be embraced by as many people as possible globally and the top reason for that is because Bitcoin is presenting to all of us an opportunity to take the power which we should have in our hands...and this can also be the main reason why many governments have been vocally against Bitcoin. Bitcoin is beyond the total control and influence of those in power so either they let it grow unhampered, regulate it to make the fields even fairer and weed out scams or they just ban it outright because they could not fully grasp it and fear what it can do for them politically in the long run.
This is not to mention the fact that Bitcoin has proven itself to be the best investment tool so far outstripping the ROI of all the other traditional investment vehicles and programs we can find anywhere. Now considered as the digital gold, it has been surging in price lately due to immense speculations connected with the coming futures. There have been instances when Bitcoin can help the people directly as what Venezuela and Zimbabwe have shown, which is now one of the many things that I really appreciate with Bitcoin.
