To the best of my knowledge, a good and knowledgeable investor should not put all his eggs in one basket. No matter how profitable an investment could be, an investor must endeavour to diversify his/her investments to different  investment portfolios should the unexpected occur in one investment others will cushion the loss in the one that defaulted.

If you wanna do a full shot on a single cryptocurrency, Ethereum is your way to go i believe, it's have multiple hundreds millions of other projects depending on their network, $60 -> $500 has already happened these day though and was silent for months against bitcoin rally, i would say your investment would be safer comparing other big chips like Dash or Monero. 100% growth is just too common for crypto these days and your target should be attainable within a year span.

It is not a good decision to all your money move to in a one coin . You must buy other coin , never put your all money in a one place must move here and there other wise you can lose your money but ETH is a passive source so you can hold it for a long time.

I think it will not be a good decision and choice to do in putting up all your money into just one cryptocurrency in which I see that it seem like you are not yet sure and assured that Ethereum will be putting up into $1,000 in 2018. Although it is possible to happen, but still you must not put all your money into one coin. Better try to seek for other potential coins to also put your money to become more productive and not be dependable into just one coin.

i dont think using all money to buy ethereum is a good idea, because first we can loose all money if something wrong happen to ethereum in the future, second, we can not maximize our profit by just investing ethereum, we can invest in bitcoin to better our profit.

I think investing all your coins into one specific coin never works out well. It is better diversify your portfolio. You can still prefer to put more on ethereum.
